The Korean Association of Immunologists (KAI) International Meeting 2023

Wednesday 13th September 2023 at Songdo Convensia Convention Cente

This year’s conference will take place from 13 to 16  September, 2023 for four days at the Songdo Convensia in Incheon. With the anxiety surrounding COVID-19 now completely gone, the KAI International Meeting 2023 will be held completely offline.

The KAI International Meeting 2023 has invited both domestic and international basic and clinical immunologists with world-class academic levels to prepare for four keynote speeches and 16 symposiums. The keynote speeches will be given by Dr. Hergen Spits, Dr. Alexander Rudensky, and Dr. E. John Wherry, respectively, on the latest research topics in innate lymphoid cells (ILC), regulatory T cells, and cancer immunology. The KAI-Genexine awardees will also be announced this year.  The symposium will cover a total of 16 topics, from basic research in immunology to clinical research on immunological diseases, and the entire program will be helpful not only to immunologists but also to members in related fields, corporate researchers, and clinical doctors. Additionally, two Young Immunologists Sessions will be available to share the research achievements of young researchers, including graduate students, who will lead the future of the society.

This year’s “Immuno-Bio Forum,” which started several years ago, is an event in which Incheon City, corporations, and investors jointly participate with the theme of activating immunological research and related industries. The field of immunology is a field of study closely linked to overcoming human diseases and can contribute to creating future industrial sources to the extent that it can be called the semiconductor field of the life sciences industry.

They hope that the KAI International Meeting 2023 can serve as a stepping stone for creating the greatest renaissance of immunology in Korea, and that everyone will work together to write another myth on the international stage.
