This school is designed for PhD students and early post-docs who already have some knowledge of immunology and/or infection biology. The four-day course will combine lectures from invited speakers and oral presentations by attendants, with plenty of time for discussion (see programme).
Poster sessions are an integral part of the school, in which the faculty and students/post-docs will mingle and actively discuss their work. This is a great opportunity to enhance scientific exchanges and promote networking!
Of note, there will also be a visit to iMM (https://imm.medicina.ulisboa.pt/en/), which will include short presentations from our research groups working on Infection and Immunity.
The school will host up to 60 students and early post-docs. We welcome participants from any institution, although privileged access will be given to the TwinnToInfect partner institutions: iMM Lisboa, Pasteur and Francis Crick Institute.
TwinnToInfect will support the registration fee for 15 participants from iMM, 15 from the Francis Crick Institute and 15 from iMM. EFIS – European Federation of Immunological Societies, in collaboration with the Portuguese Society for Immunology (SPI) will kindly support the registration fee of up to 8 participants from European Institutions outside Portugal.
Participants will be selected based on an abstract of their current research project; and a brief curricular note. Please fill in the registration form.
Deadline for registration: Given the strong interest in the school, we have decided to extend the deadline till this Friday, January 19th, at 15:00 (Lisbon time)
