We have a winner!

The IUIS, together with Vaccines Europe is pleased to announce the 2018 winner of the Early Career Research Prize in Vaccinology R&D. The winner has been identified by a jury of 8 members of the IUIS Vaccine Committee among the excellent applications received from 12 different European countries. According to the standardized scoring system followed, the highest scores were given toChristian T. Mayer (Germany), currently working at Twincore, Center for Experimental and Clinical Infection Research (lab of Prof. Tim Sparwasser), Hannover, Germany.

The IUIS President accompanied by the VAC Chairperson and a VE Representative will present Prize certificates to the winners of the 2017 and 2018 Prizes during an Award Ceremony organized within the broad program of the IUIS European meeting (European Congress of Immunology – ECI 2018) scheduled in September 2018. During the Award Ceremony, the winners are invited to present their research topics in form of a short lecture (15-20 minutes) at the end of the IUIS vaccinology session.
