The West Indian islands that the society will cover are primarily the countries of the Commonwealth Caribbean: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, and the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, and the Turks and Caicos Islands, in addition to Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.

The aims of the society are:

a) grouping researchers and students in immunology, promoting knowledge management and the exchange of experiences
b) promote and channel the potential available in the country in immunology to obtain high-quality services and products for research and clinical applications
c) provide adequate space for the analysis and discussion of the scientific works of its members
