MISSION STATEMENT

The Austrian Society for Allergology and Immunology represents all scientists and medical doctors, that are interested in the physiology and pathophysiology of the immune system as well as clinical presentation, diagnostics and therapy of all diseases related to the immune system.

The main goals of the ÖGAI are:

to promote general knowledge of the immune system as well as the consequences resulting from its malfunctions

to decrease the burden of immune-mediated diseases for the individual as well as society in general

to improve therapy and preventative options for treating immune-mediated diseases
